Vacheron Constantin Patrimony Heritage Series Rock Grey Dial Perpetual Calendar

The new Patrimony Heritage Series perpetual calendar pink gold model at the 2017 Geneva International High-level Watch and Clock Fair (SIHH) uses a new rock gray dial. This fine watchmaking classic is equipped with the legendary 1120 QP movement. This ultra-thin self-winding mechanical movement demonstrates the consistent elegance and slimness of the Patrimony heritage series.

The 1120 QP movement developed and manufactured by Vacheron Constantin drives the hour and minute hands, the moon phase display at 6 o’clock, the day display at 9 o’clock, the date display at 3 o’clock, and the 12 o’clock position. Perpetual calendar consisting of a 48-month display with a leap year indicator. Unlike a simple calendar that requires manual correction in months of less than 31 days, as a classic perpetual calendar much appreciated by watch enthusiasts, no correction is required until March 1, 2100. This perpetual calendar can automatically calculate 31, 30, and 28 days of the month, and calculate the leap year cycle and February 29, which occurs every four years. This complication features a stunning micro-mechanical mechanism to ensure it performs automatic mechanical corrections based on calendar changes. In order to create this ultra-thin perpetual calendar, the pursuit of micro-mechanical technology has reached the extreme. The thickness of the Vacheron Constantin 1120 QP movement is only 4.05 mm, the vibration frequency is 2.75 Hz (19,800 times per hour), and it has a 40-hour power reserve. The oscillating weight is decorated with the Maltese cross logo, which shows the design style of the brand’s movement.

The new Patrimony Heritage Series perpetual calendar pink gold case introduced by the 2017 SIHH in Geneva, with a rock gray dial. Continuing the series’ elegant character and pure aesthetic design, it is a new interpretation of modern atmosphere and dynamic. The microarched dial is decorated with a ring-shaped ‘bead’ minute scale and 18K pink gold appliqued hour markers. 18K pink gold hour and minute hands and calendar indication. The hand-stitched black crocodile riding stitching strap is equipped with a folding buckle of the same material and is decorated with a delicate sanding process.

Below the dial, the pink gold moon phase profit and loss display against the blue electroplated chassis presents everything. Each star has been carefully constructed to present an accurate astrological map.

Through the sapphire crystal case back, you can admire the 1120 QP movement on the watch. The 41 mm diameter case is water-resistant to 3 bar (about 30 meters).
